News
30/11/2017
1st December is World AIDS Day…
In the lead up to to this day, it is important for us all to know more about HIV and what we can do to protect our sexual health.
Over the past 30 years, medicine, education and technology have all come forward in leaps and bounds, helping to tackle the epidemic and reduce the number of people being infected with HIV.
Yet, AIDS remains the leading killer of young people between the ages of 10-24 years old in Africa. Now more than ever, it is important for all of us to take charge of our sexual health and know our status. It can be a daunting prospect when thinking about getting tested, but it’s something we all need to do to live our fullest, healthiest lives.
