FREE download of the new MTV Shuga track: Down South

After months of hard work, MTV Shuga is back and the upcoming season is going to bring you everything you’ve come to expect from your favourite show: drama, education and of course, great music.

This year we teamed up with three of the hottest artists on the continent to record a lit title track for MTV Shuga: Down South. Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay was the first artist to be confirmed to this year’s title track. She lent her award-winning voice to give us a slick hook that needed some strong verses.  Because MTV Shuga is in South Africa for the first time, we had to recruit two of Mzansi’s finest rappers, Nasty C and Ma E, to lay down some heavy bars.

The song made its South African radio debut on 5FM’s breakfast show, Fresh at 5 on Monday the 6th of March.
