Shugafam, Sol actually convinced Lemo to sell drugs in school. With Sol always present to protect him from those school bullies, I doubt he’ll stop selling those drugs anytime soon. But you see, he is so focused on pushing drugs that he doesn’t realize he is losing his innocence under Sol’s wing. I do not like this at all, what’s happened to Little Lemo?
It seems like Ipeleng just might give love another shot. She and Daniel are quite attracted to each other and they are not afraid to show it. Yes, I am all for shooting your shot and going for whatever it is that you want. Daniel had better treat her right though, we all cannot bear to see Ipeleng get hurt.
For the longest time, Arabeng has been told that she has weak bones. After 14 years, the truth is finally out and she now knows that her drugs are not vitamin pills after all. Arabeng has been HIV positive all her life and she did not have the slightest idea. She was born with the virus and her family decided to protect her by not telling her the truth. I understand that it may be hard for them to reveal this but it is always more difficult for the person carrying the virus. It is her right to know her status in order to take control of her health. I feel sorry for her and I hope she finds a way to handle this overwhelming news. Fam, if you are in this situation, you can send a Please Call Me to 083 323 1023 and someone from our Love Life team will give you a call.
We cannot overemphasize the importance of confidentiality in sexual health clinics or in any clinic at all. The nurse who was calling out names for the collection of ARVs at the clinic acted so unprofessionally. When Bongi tried to correct her, she wasn’t ready to listen and if the other nurse was not there to intervene, I am sure she would have made a scene. This is why many young people are hesitant to go get tested for HIV. Thankfully, she has a strong support system. Leila, her best friend, is such a breath of fresh air. She understands HIV and its dynamics; I believe this is what Bongi truly needs.
Kwanele’s ex-girlfriend stopped by his workplace to tell him that she is HIV positive. He needs to get tested ASAP because they did not use any form of protection while they were together. He was not expecting this and neither were we.
