These four walls don’t scream as loud as before
More than a year in total lockdown has drowned out their noise
Just a little while longer
Until we’re past the “new normal”
Then we can resume life
I’m happy to have not lost all my liberties.

And there will be no tape measure when we hug the loved ones we’ve missed
