MTV Shuga Naija is back with a bang! By now, I believe you all have watched episode 1. If you haven’t seen it yet (I’m judging you, by the way), you can watch the full episode at the bottom of this article.
Episode 1 began with a glimpse into Ebisinde’s current situation. Remember Wasiu snitched on Ebi and Shina at the end of the last season? Sadly, Ebisinde is now in prison for their crimes. Guess who joined him in his prison cell guys! Bada! Ebisinde recognized his sister’s rapist and gave him the beating he deserved. For a lot of viewers, this moment brought about a lot of satisfaction but it might have landed Ebisinde in even more trouble.

Faa is doing all she possibly can to get Ebisinde out so they can move on with their lives. But we all know she has limited resources and it’s going to be hard for her to do this alone. Somehow, a man named Angel called her and assured her that he’d help with anything she needs. Coincidence much? We don’t know this man or what he looks like but already, I do not approve of whatever he’s trying to do but let’s wait till we find out what he really wants.
Tobi is involved with another woman. This time, I think he’s in love. He may act all sweet and brand new but what we are not going to do is forget that he shut his eyes to Faa’s rape incident like it never happened. His conscience is giving him a hard time though. Plus, he found out his sister is a ‘runz girl’. How will Tobi handle this?

Yasmin is having a tough time dealing with the school authorities who are bent on closing her sex-health club while her husband, Mahmud, is being pressured by his parents to have children. They do not understand or support contraceptive methods and are convinced that Yasmin is barren. Pretty rough period, yeah?
Meanwhile, Frances is still shaken by the rape incident and the school is not helping her at all. With the blame games going on, will Frances ever get over this?
It was a tough first episode for me. I have so many questions, I’m sure you do too - leave us with a few of your comments, questions and theories in the comments section below!
