Brand New Shuga Radio Series Hits the Airwaves

Breaking News Shuga fam! We’re excited to announce a brand new series of Shuga Radio!

That’s right, Shuga Radio Naija is here! We will be airing the first episode tomorrow on Unilag FM at 20:00 and City105.1 FM, Tuesday at 19:45. You can also listen to the episodes right here, at mtvshuga.com. Exciting right?!

So what exactly is Shuga Radio Naija? It’s a new radio drama series set in the fictional rural village of “Chikota”, Nigeria. Trust us na, we no go dull; you’ll be hooked within the first 5 minutes!

Shuga Radio Naija is unlike any other radio series. With characters such as Patricia, who is the fine-girl no-pimples prefect, and her best friend Roli, a fun-loving fearless girl. Then there’s Soji, the school drop-out, always looking for the quickest way to make it big and Bitrus, the school crush.

Shuga Radio Naija explores the ups and downs of a group of students and their families and the challenging decisions they must make.

You should know by now that there is nowhere Shuga won’t go, from flirting and sex to troublesome relationships and domestic violence—we always have the hard-hitting storylines you love.
