Shuga auditions attracts hundreds of talented hopefuls!

Friday 26th and Saturday 27th July were the dates circled in every aspiring actors’/actresses’ diary, as the chance to star in the new series of Shuga became a reality.

Hundreds of talented actors in and around Nigeria packed out the Protea Hotel in Lagos to audition for a role in Shuga, set in Nigeria for the first time. As ambitious stars waited for their five minutes to impress, MTV Base VJ, Ehiz was on hand to entertain the growing crowd.

The day also saw celebrity guests Hakeem Rahman, Gabriel Afolayan, Anis Holloway, Makida Moka, Mo Eazy, and Zaina getting involved in the fun of the auditions, while also giving support to fellow hopefuls. Successful contestants will join Nigerian actor and musician Ikubese Emmanuel Ifeanyichukwu and Kenyan actor, singer and radio presenter Nick Mutuma on the award-winning series.
