MTV Shuga 4: Episode 2 Recap

Another week, another truly entertaining MTV Shuga episode! Here’s the low down of what happened in Episode 2:

After spotting Femi at the HIV clinic, Tobi tells Sheila about Femi’s status, but her response to his reveal surprises him.

Sheila’s brother, Michael , overhears her conversation with Tobi and confronts his sister. When she doesn’t change her perspective on HIV-affected people and her relationship with Femi, he runs to her parents who are outraged. Sheila is left heartbroken by her family’s close-minded perspective of her relationship with Femi, leaving Femi wondering if their love is worth all her pain.

Sophie and Leo are still lovebirds who can’t keep their hands off each other but Sophie isn’t quite ready for their relationship to become more intimate. While in the past she had no problem expressing her sexuality, she really wants to take things slow this time around. Although Leo respects her stance on a non-sexual relationship, he’s still finds it difficult to hold back, often feeling neglected.

Mary has been fascinated by a handsome older guy (Nii) since his career talk at her school, so bumping into him at the mall was  a dream come true and she couldn’t resist the opportunity to flirt with him. Ever the charmer, Nii enjoys the attention of a young and naïve Mary and once he learns of her parents financial issues, he seizes the opportunity to step in and help.
