Sister, Sister!
This season of MTV Shuga had some intense stories! From Mary and Nii’s inappropriate relationship, to Princess being pregnant and more! But the ladies of MTV Shuga didn’t let that stop them from having fun, working hard and supporting each other!
Who says girls can’t stick together!?
Saint Eniola showed how big her heart is this season. Despite being an HIV-positive single mother with a young child, she was always there for Princess. She cared for Princess like a mentor, a sister and a friend, giving great advice and support. But ultimately, Eniola wasn’t afraid to step in to tell Princess (and Sophie) the inconvenient truth when necessary!

2. Sophie and Princess
Sophie became a complete BOSS this season, holding down multiple jobs while supporting her sister. Sophie definitely preferred the tough-love approach when dealing with Princess, but despite their constant bickering, she never truly abandoned her sister in her times of need!
The love was clearly there.
As teenagers in high school, these ladies dealt with a lot of the issues young girls face but stuck by each other! When Leila was concerned about her relationship with Weki, the girls encouraged her to find out what was going on with him. They may have been wrong with their assumption (he wasn’t cheating) but they were there for moral support. When Bongi was initially scared to perform at the talent show, Mary made her see that she had a voice that was too good not to share with the world, pushing her out of her comfort zone. And when Mary was in over her head with Nii, and worried about her parents finding her bruises, Bongi was her rock, being a true, honest and supportive friend.
Showing that no matter what live throws at you, you can get through it a lot better with your best girls by your side.
