All the gist from Shuga Radio Naija – Episode 1

Shuga Radio is finally here! We are so excited! The first episode aired this week, with so much drama already. If you missed it, no problem, we’ve got you covered. Here’s what went down!

Head girl, Patricia, is one of the most popular girls in Chikota Grammar School, alongside her wing woman Roli, who’s always there to give her advice, whether she wants it or not! The pair are inseparable, but it seems there’s something, or someone, that Roli may be hiding from Patricia.

The school’s head boy Bitrus is smart, popular and focused; something that has not gone unnoticed by Patricia, who has developed a crush on him. But he has yet to notice! He seems very preoccupied and very puzzled by some anonymous letters he has been receiving.

Despite societal norms, Bitrus’ father is quite cool and very open about his HIV-positive status. He constantly warns his son against the dangers of unprotected sex.

Soji, also known as SJB, is the school drop-out and village runs guy. After spotting Patricia out at night, he makes it his mission to get her digits—unknown to her—and sends her a saucy message, which is retrieved by Patricia’s aunt.

Her angry aunt threatens to report Patricia’s debacles to her father, which could no doubt mean disaster for Patricia.
