MTV Shuga 4: Episode 3 Recap

Another week and MTV Shuga 4 just keeps getting better! Here’s the low down of what happened in episode 3:

Mary’s parents are suspicious of Nii’s intentions and insist on meeting him. Always the wolf in sheep’s clothing, Nii pulls out all the stops to impress Mary’s parents and while her father naively believes Nii’s intentions are generous and innocent, her mother is not quite convinced. But given Nii’s offer of financial support for Mary’s education, they feel stuck between a rock and a hard place and push their worries aside.

Sheila’s family believes she has been brainwashed by Femi and go to extreme lengths to break them up. Michael asks Tobi to assist him in blackmailing Femi and revealing his HIV status. Tobi unconvinced of the plan, reminds Michael that it is illegal to reveal a person’s status, but with a hefty pay, Tobi might just change his stance on revealing Femi’s status.

Feeling guilty about his lack of honesty in his relationship with Leila, Weki confesses to Femi that he is yet to tell Leila about his status. Femi encourages him to share his status with Leila before having sex but he can’t seem to muster up the courage to tell her. They have sex for the first time and Weki makes sure to use a condom but will Leila be able to forgive him when she finds out?

Tobi decides to inform Sheila and Femi of the plan to reveal Femi’s HIV status and they decide to go public with their relationship and take matters into their own hands.
