Surprising cast revealed for MTV Shuga 4

Guess what Shuga fam! You’ve asked and now we can finally answer, “yes!” Sophie so-fine-so-fly, played by the talented 24-year-old Dorcas Shola Fapson, is BACK in MTV Shuga 4!

The last episode of Shuga Naija ended dramatically with the much loved Sophie being wheeled off in an ambulance; so what’s next for the former ‘runs girl’? The new series sees Sophie vowing to turn her life around and act more responsibly, but you know what they say, old habits die hard.
Dorcas will also be joined by upcoming South African actress and singer, Mohau Mokoatle, 23, who will be playing a new 15-year-old character in the series, called Bongi.
Mohau will be making her on-screen debut in MTV Shuga, however, as a Dramatic Arts graduate from the University of Witwatersrand; she has taken part in theatre productions including Late Lunch and Freedom’s Children.
Can we get a “YEAH!” from all of our Southern African fans?!
Dorcas and Mohau will be joining familiar MTV Shuga stars Olumide Oworu (Weki), Chris Attoh (Nii), Timini Egbuson (Tobi), Emmanuel Ikubese (Femi) and Sharon Ezeamaka(Princess). New stars in the series are: Peace Hyde (Eniola), Adesua Etomi who will play Femi’s love-interest Sheila and Jemima Osunde who will play Weki’s love interest, Leila.
Filming for MTV Shuga is already underway in Lagos, and the show is slated to hit TV screens later this year.
